CPR Classes That Build Confidence

"Perfection consists not in doing extraordinary things, but in doing ordinary things extraordinarily well" -- Angelique Arnauld

Performing CPR is not an "ordinary" thing for most of us. In fact, it's a pretty extraordinary thing. And to do it well requires not only technical proficiency but also confidence in yourself. When a child gets pulled from a pool or a guy is laying flat on the floor in the grocery store and people are panicked all around you, adrenaline pumps and your reptilian or "old brain" kicks in with fight, flight or freeze. Confidence allows you to put that old brain back in its place and take the first right step to save a life.

At Cascade Training Center we strive to create a training experience in our CPR classes that delivers all of the American Heart Association technical skills you need in order to save a life. At the same time, we have created unique ways to help you remember what to do, whether you are taking a simple Heartsaver CPR, AED and First Aid or BLS for Healthcare Providers class all the way up to our advanced classes like ACLS and PALS.

The result of this one-two punch is equipping our resuscitation students with confidence to kneel next to that child or adult needing help and take the necessary steps, in the right order, to provide that person with the best CPR possible. The patient outcome doesn't always turn out the way we want, but we know our students are equipped to do it the right way to increase the odds.

Our training centers use the latest in CPR manikin technology providing you with real-time feedback on CPR compressions and ventilation. We also measure customer satisfaction using a standard net promoter efficiency rating survey and company-wide our NPS score is 86. Higher than Amazon, Rackspace, TD Bank, Harley-Davidson, Charles Schwab, Zappos, Costco, Vanguard, and Dell — all operating at NPS efficiency ratings of 50 percent to 80 percent. We constantly strive to take feedback and improve our training classes.

We receive dozens of course feedback surveys every day and not to brag...well, maybe a little...here are just a few of the recent comments about confidence in resuscitation skills after taking CPR or other classes with us.

Took my very first First Aid/CPR class today. I now feel confident enough to save a life if I ever had to. I would recommend this class to anyone. It was a blast and I learned a lot. Shout out to my instructor Kristina M. Sackrider. She was very nice and informational.

Feedback text: My instructor, Heather, spent the initial day explaining the many ACLS algorithms, heart rates, ECG findings in ways I had not thought of before. Her approach reinforced what I needed to know in order to learn and pass the hands on and written test. I prepared well and felt that this in combination with what was covered during class, I passed both tests with good confidence. I will be back in another two years. Thanks.
